Outdoor Dog Photoshoots - When is the best time of year?
I’m often asked when is the best time to book an outdoor photoshoot for a dog. Almost every season has something lovely to offer.
But some shoots - like dogs among the bluebells or in a blaze of colour in the poppy fields - have a narrower time window and need a bit of advance planning.
Read on and let’s get something in the diary in good time if one of these takes your fancy.
TEN for TEN – 7. Rafferty the lurcher
2019 was a landmark year for me, ten years since I began my journey as a professional dog photographer. To celebrate I invited ten of the dogs I’d photographed over the years back for another photo shoot and shared the series of pictures on social media: Ten for Ten.
Rafferty was one of the most stunning creatures I’ve ever photographed. My photoshoot with him was also one of my very first photoshoots as a professional photographer and such a lovely one.
TILDA | Richmond Studio Photoshoot for a famous Galga
The moment the beautiful Tilda walked into my Richmond studio I knew I was in for a treat: beautiful, charming, friendly, very well-trained and attentive, she was going to be the perfect subject.
But I didn’t know the half of it. As her owners started to chat and shared with me Tilda’s extraordinary story, I began to realise I was in the presence of the most heroic creature I have ever photographed.
Why Madaboutgreys?
I’m sometimes asked why did I call my business “Madaboutgreys”? In fact many people probably wonder about it but are too polite to ask. Here is the back story.
It all started with a greyhound, over a decade ago.
